Every buy
opens the box.
Buy $QCAT and a box opens for you on-chain one block later. Alive, you get paid in $QUBT, a tokenized quantum-computing stock. Dead, the pot grows. And one box in 500 lands in superposition and takes 10% of the whole pot.
The box is sealed. It opens at launch.
The box, live
Alive or dead.
Every block.
Every buy gets one box. It is sealed when the buy lands and opened one L2 block later, with a block hash that did not exist yet when the box was sealed.
How it works
Buy. Seal. Open.
Nothing to claim, nothing to sign after you buy. The box finds you.
Buy $QCAT on pons
$QCAT trades on pons against $QUBT, the tokenized stock of Quantum Computing Inc. Any buy of at least 2 QUBT gets a box.
Your box is sealed
The keeper sees your buy and seals one box for it in the box contract. One buy, one box, identified by its transaction.
It opens a block later
The box opens with the hash of the block it was sealed in. Alive pays straight to your wallet, in $QUBT.
You get paid in $QUBT: up to 10% of what you spent, from the pot.
Nothing this time. Your trade's tax stays in the box and the pot grows.
Both at once. You take 10% of the entire pot.
The pot
Every trade feeds the box
$QCAT charges a creator tax on every buy and sell, paid in $QUBT. Pons credits it to the box contract, which pulls it into the pot. Payouts only ever come out of that pot.
- Sells pay the tax too, and dead boxes pay nothing, so the pot refills on its own.
- An alive box pays at most 1% of the pot, so the pot never runs dry.
- At most 30% of the pot can leave in any hour, whatever happens.
Why a quantum stock
The cat was always quantum
In 1935 Erwin Schrödinger put a cat in a box to show how strange quantum mechanics is: until you look, it is alive and dead at once. $QCAT is that box, and it pays in $QUBT, Quantum Computing Inc., tokenized on Robinhood Chain.
- The first pons launch paired against a quantum-computing stock.
- Winnings are real stock tokens, straight to your wallet.
- Open code, open odds: every box is on-chain.

FAQ
Questions
Do I have to do anything after buying?
No. The keeper seals a box for your buy and opens it one block later. If you are alive, $QUBT lands in the wallet that received your $QCAT. Anyone can also open pending boxes themselves by calling openBoxes on the contract.
How fast does my box open?
Usually within a minute of your buy. The box itself opens one L2 block after it is sealed, which is a fraction of a second on Robinhood Chain.
Can anyone rig the result?
A box is sealed in one block and opened with that block's hash. Nobody knows that hash when the box is sealed, including the keeper. Each result is recomputable from public chain data: keccak256(blockHash, boxId, contract).
Why did my alive box pay less than 10%?
An alive box pays the smaller of 10% of what you spent and 1% of the pot, and no more than 30% of the pot can leave in an hour. Early on, while the pot is small, payouts are smaller too.
Who controls the contract?
Until ownership is renounced, the deployer can pause, retune the odds, upgrade and withdraw. That exists only to protect the pot during launch. Ownership is renounced once the first boxes open correctly, and the status above is read live from the chain.
What is $QUBT?
